Prayers for the week of 9 September 2019

Thank God for the opportunities Evangelical Alliance staff have to visit and speak at churches during the autumn. Pray that many churches and Christians will be encouraged and equip to live and speak for Jesus.

Pray for the Simply Eat tour which is taking place in Birmingham, Manchester and Southampton in October. Pray that many people will join the team to explore creative ways of sharing their faith over food.

Pray for the team in Northern Ireland as they face difficult issues around devolution and sanctity of life policy. Pray that the team would be able to influence in a helpful and godly way.

Prayers for the week of 2 September 2019

Thank you God for all the opportunities Evangelical Alliance staff have had to share at festivals this summer. We pray that the church around the UK would be supported and encouraged by the work that we do to encourage Christians to share and follow Jesus.

As we head into a new season, be with the teams in Northern Ireland, Wales, Scotland and England as they plan and deliver events and resources which will serve the UK church.

We pray for the Evangelical Alliance leadership team, and for Gavin Calver and Steve Clifford as they prepare to change roles later this autumn. Be with them all and give them courage and wisdom in the time ahead.
