“When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, what is mankind that you are mindful of them, human beings that you care for them?”

Beautiful God,
The whole of creation points to your grace and mercy.
The palette of creation reveals your majesty and your glory.
All of creation points to you our creator and sustainer.
All creation is important to you.

Almighty God, we pray for those who attend COP27.
We pray for decision makers:
Grant them courage to go beyond self interest,
Creativity to find new solutions,
Unity to see lasting change.

Lord, we pray for your church,
That we may take the issues of global creation care and sustainability seriously.
Lord, may we be good stewards for a next generation.
Lord, have mercy.
In Jesus name,
