Faith and Police Together (FPT) launched in April 2018, with the help of the Christian Police Association, to encourage faith communities, the police and other statutory agencies partners to work together to help tackle some of the systemic problems within our communities: addiction, youth violence, homelessness, loneliness.
Police inspector Marie Reavey was seconded to the FPT initiative as project manager (read an interview with Marie). She has visited and researched many projects where effective activities are taking place around the key areas mentioned above. From this work, she has produced a resource to assist police and faith communities as they seek to collaborate for the sake of their communities.
