I have applied to become a church or organisation member. How long does the process take?
The process to become a church or organisation member takes on average one to three months. This allows time to contact and hear back from the referees listed on your application form, to process your completed Direct Debit form, and to receive final confirmation from the membership committee. You can read more about the process for churches here and for organisations here.
My church would like to apply for membership, but it has not been established for two years. Can we still apply?
Our church plant membership is the best option for churches that have been established for less than two years and planted from an established Evangelical Alliance member church. You can find out more about our church plant membership here.
I would like to invite an Evangelical Alliance speaker to my church, event or Sunday service. How can I do this?
We love to visit our member churches and organisations. You can read more about our speakers and request one here.
I have a joint membership with my husband or wife. Why are the regular emails that we signed up for only sent and addressed to one of us?
We have recently moved to a new system and, due to the way we record our data, can only address our emails to individual contacts within a joint membership.
If you have a joint membership and wish to receive regular emails from us, you will both need to sign up separately here using different email addresses.
I have a complaint about the Evangelical Alliance, or an Evangelical Alliance member church or organisation. How can I share this with you?
We are open to hearing and responding to complaints about the Evangelical Alliance, as well as our member churches and organisations. It is worth noting, however, that we do not have regulatory powers over our members nor the legal authority to investigate our members.
If you have a complaint, please email membership@eauk.org and we will direct your concern onto our complaints and/or safeguarding leads.

Does the Evangelical Alliance offer membership for multisite churches? How does this work?
Multi-site churches meet in more than one location and generally share the same name, centralised administration and overarching leadership. If your church is interested in applying for membership as a multi-site, please email us at membership@eauk.org to discuss your application.
If you are already a member church but have several sites, we’d be grateful if you could get in touch to ensure that we hold the most up-to-date details for your church and can add all your sites to our ‘Find a Church’ tool.
I would like to unsubscribe from Evangelical Alliance emails. How can I do this?
You can manage which communications you receive from the Evangelical Alliance by scrolling to the end of any email you receive from us and clicking ‘Update your preferences’.
The membership for my church or organisation lapsed a while ago. Do we need to re-apply for membership?
If your church or organisation’s membership has lapsed within a certain amount of time, we can most likely just re-activate your membership. In some cases, however, we will need to ask you to re-apply for membership. Please get in touch with the membership team at membership@eauk.org to discuss your options.
