The Kitchen Table Project
The Kitchen Table Project is a movement of mums, dads and carers who want to see their children grow up to love God for themselves.
Just 50% of children growing up in Christian homes will keep their faith as adults. What many people don’t realise is that mums and dads are the most important influence on children developing a faith that lasts. The Kitchen Table Project aims to equip and encourage parents to nurture their children’s faith at home. The best starting point is the ‘Inspire’ session — a 90-minute small group discussion that starts parents thinking about what they can do at home. All the materials are free to download and are easy to use.Sign up on the website to receive a monthly email with motivation and encouragement and follow them on Facebook for lots of ideas to help parents share Jesus at home. The church toolkit is designed to help churches equip the parents in their congregation to make the most of the opportunity they have to help build faith in their children while they are young.Care for the Family will be producing supporting resources over the next few years.
