Save the date: World Refugee Sunday

The European Evangelical Alliance (EEA) is calling on Christians to mark World Refugee Sunday.

Churches around the world will pray for refugees and internally displaced people on Sunday, 18 June or Sunday, 25 June 2017.

More than 65 million men, women and children are currently displaced by persecution, violence and war globally.

The EEA has been responding to the unprecedented flow of migrants and refugees who have entered Europe in recent years.

It is encouraging Christians to intercede for refugees and migrants, and to engage in the resolution of the crisis.

The Refugee Campaign was set up by the EEA to combine individual, church and organizational responses to the crisis, and to pray for all those impacted by it.

The Refugee Highway Partnership and The Refugee Campaign are preparing a church pack for the event.

The church pack will include a prayer guide, sermon outlines, advocacy actions, materials for children, videos and practical suggestions for your church to run a refugee-themed Sunday service.

You can register for your copy in your chosen language here: https://goo.gl/forms/zUssQf71HW56XmH72

The pack will be sent as soon as it is ready.
