Richard is a graduate researcher at the Evangelical Alliance. He spent the last two years studying a masters in law at Queen's University Belfast. He's come to realise that the path we walk as Christians is often narrow, but one filled with hope, truth and grace. He's looking forward to learning more this year about the unique space we occupy in the public square.
Student Vote '22 event
8 April 2022The hustings covered four key areas, featuring an audience poll for each topic and ending with an open Q&A from the floor. Education We asked the crowd to vote via the app, on the question: “As a student, how satisfied are you that you are getting value for money in your university education?” To much surprise, most voted “satisfied”. 27 January 2022The prime minister is “regretfully sorry” for the parties that he may or may not have attended; Doug Beattie was “ashamed and sorry” for derogatory comments he tweeted over a decade ago; and most recently, a handful of Sinn Fein politicians were also “deeply sorry” for historical sectarian slurs made on Twitter.
