Natalie Williams

Natalie Williams grew up in relative poverty in the deprived seaside town of Hastings. She became a Christian at 15, which changed her life completely. Natalie has been involved with Jubilee+ since its first year, and became chief executive in April 2021. Natalie is the co-author of four books, including A Call to Act (2020) and Invisible Divides (2022). She is passionate about the church being a place of overflowing mercy, especially for those trapped in poverty.

Hope is the antidote

18 December 2022What struck me was that this trajectory starts in suffering but instead of ending in sorrow or sadness or despair, it ends in hope. In the mysterious ways of God, suffering doesn’t strip away hope, but ultimately produces it. Surely that cannot be right? It is when I suffer that I often feel most hopeless. I believe the church can restore hope in this crisis – here’s how

31 October 2022Over the last 10 to 15 years, we’ve seen a significant shift in church activities where ‘good works’ or ‘mercy ministries’ have become commonplace once again.
