David Taylor
David grew up in a Christian home and in a Brethren assembly in Colchester. After studying Classics and Theology at Cambridge he trained to teach Religious Education and taught in two schools in south-east London. He's married to Gill and they have three grown-up children. He's been a pastor since 1997, and has been in Thatcham since 2011. David has also taught New Testament Greek, and now chairs the Standing Advisory Council for Religious Education in West Berkshire.
The great repair job
6 January 2022There was something else noticeable, too. About a quarter of those present were newcomers. We are used to welcoming around one or two new people into our church per month, so it was as if we were catching up on the backlog caused by coronavirus. Most of these newcomers have stayed with us, including several with disabilities and three families that recently arrived from Hong Kong on the government’s special visa programme.
