2gether Scotland

As 2gether Scotland we are an alliance of organisations, churches, and individuals working all2gether for spiritual and social transformation in this nation.

One of the most important roles of the Evangelical Alliance Scotland is to be a place and a resource to share stories amongst God's people about all that He is doing across Scotland. As we begin to hear and share one another's stories we can support, encourage, provide help and advice, and so bring the church together strengthen in unity.

We therefore feel our communication amongst are members is vital. The Evangelical Alliance UK already produce a huge variety of information and updates about the work of the EA and its members across the United Kingdom e.g. cMail (News for Alliance member churches), PQ (monthly update from public affairs department), monthly Prayer Watch, and of course Idea magazine.

Here in Scotland, the EA plays a vital role in communicating with its members north of the border and this all comes under the banner of 2gether Scotland. At present this takes the form of our newsletter, our website, fortnightly Podcast, Fred's blog and Alistair's fortnightly public affairs update:

NEWLETTER

Three times a year we send out a newsletter to all our members in Scotland. This highlights some of the work of our member organisations; provides profiles of member organisations, churches and individuals and why they are part EA Scotland; and details some of the key events that are taking place across Scotland over the next few months. The newsletter can also be accessed below.

WEBSITE

We have some great ideas for how we want to develop this website into a key resource for our members. While already providing information on the work of the Evangelical Alliance Scotland, we hope that the website will make available information and links to the work of all our member churches and organisations in Scotland.

MONTHLY E-NEWS

2gether Scotland E-news is a simple resource to help and equip you for effective prayer and action and keep you informed and up-to-date with all that the Lord his doing through his Church across this nation. Each month we will take a different theme, with articles and Podcast interviews exploring essential topics affecting the Scottish Church. We hope that through reading the articles and listening to the Podcast we can help you stay networked and connected and be encouraged and excited by what the Lord is doing right across Scotland.

PUBLIC AFFAIRS UPDATE

We are extremely passionate about building a dialogue between evangelical Christians and the public sector. We therefore provide a fortnightly public affairs update for all our members in Scotland. We see this as a simply resource to equip readers for effective prayer and action, by providing information on and analysis of current Scottish political issues and public affairs.

BLOG

Fred's blog is a simple means a keeping you up to date about where he is and what he is doing (while also discussing his present musings). Go to www.2getherscotland.wordpress.com to read.

For us this is just the beginning of our vision of developing and enhancing uniting and communication amongst evangelical's right across Scotland. We encourage you to partner with us in pushing forward our vision for social and spiritual transformation in Scotland.

All of these can be accessed on this website, and hard copies can also be sent if you contact us at the office.
