Row for Freedom
Human trafficking is the challenge of a lifetime; that’s what faces Northern Ireland. That’s what Kate Richardson believes.
You might have heard of her; she’s the Northern Irish woman who just broke two world records rowing the Atlantic Ocean! I recently met with Kate to hear about her daring adventures on the open seas and what compelled her to do it, but I left with the image of a woman wholeheartedly sold out for God. Kate completed this incredible feat to raise awareness of the issue of human trafficking. As you read her story, allow God to stir up a similar passion in your life, for your city and for your country.

Paul Meneely, Advocacy volunteer & researcher
Paul studied Politics at the University of Sheffield, after which he completed a one-year internship at St. Thomas’ Church Sheffield. During this time he was involved in an exciting city centre church plant which pursued prayer, mission and justice. He has recently returned to his native Belfast. Paul joined the Alliance team in November 2011. Paul has a desire to love and serve God, seeking his Kingdom in Northern Ireland. He has a particular focus on prayer and serving the homeless community in Northern Ireland.
In addition to this Paul works part-time at Starbucks. He also enjoys cooking, travelling and reading.
