Who's who in the Press Office

Senior Press Officer: Charis Gibson

Charis Gibson has a degree in media studies from the University of Ulster and a postgraduate diploma in newspaper journalism from De Montfort University. She previously worked as a reporter on the Coleraine Chronicle, Basingstoke Gazette and Daily Echo, Bournemouth, with a variety of experience from crime reporting to campaigns and features.

Her role includes devising media strategy, liasing with the media and writing. She works closely with the General Director and the Director of Public Policy.

Press Officer: Lucy Cooper

Lucy has a degree in International Development with a minor in Theology from Leeds University.

Her current role as Press Officer at the Alliance includes writing press releases, occasional articles and liaising with the media. She sets up interviews, handles enquiries, maintains web pages and films and edits video.

Press and Media Assistant: Anna Moyle

Anna holds a degree in history from Covenant College in Georgia in the US. She lived in Washington, DC and Brussels before getting married and moving to London.

Her role at the Alliance is to support the press office in various tasks including fielding media enquiries, updating the website, compiling press cuttings, and maintaining contact lists.
