There is less than a month to go until the general election, but the result is still impossible to predict, with a quarter of evangelicals undecided on which party to vote for.

Despite this, the Evangelical Alliance's Faith in Politics? survey shows that eight in 10 evangelicals are certain to vote on 7 May, double the national average.

Will you?

To cast your vote on polling day you must be registered, however. There is only one week left to sign up for this. Click here to learn how.

Amelia Abplanalp, the Alliance's public policy officer, said: "In Romans 13 we are urged to be good and responsible citizens, fulfilling our obligations to the state we live under. This principle is so important to God that He says if we're irresponsible to the state, we're irresponsible to God.

"This responsibility takes many forms; obeying laws, paying taxes, respecting our leaders. However it also extends to political engagement.

"We see this throughout the Bible in the lives of many inspiring and courageous men and women who chose to actively engage with the public square."

There are only a few days to ensure you have this privilege, so sign up to vote today.
