What does it mean to love your neighbour when that neighbour may be on the other side of the world? When we think of national sovereignty what do we mean? What role is there for supranational bodies such as the European Union, and those based on cooperation such as the G20? And how often is our reluctance to work with other countries based on our depth of understanding of our differences as opposed to our similarities?

The Evangelical Alliance works with a range of member organisations which help Christians think, pray and act on international issues. These will range from large international development charities such as Tearfund and World Vision to small and specific charities that often work in a particular country. It also includes those organisations that champion the cause of religious freedom, often highlighting cases of Christians suffering persecution because of their beliefs.
