Young Public Leaders Gathering
As part of the Evangelical Alliance's Public Leadership programme we're holding a pilot event this summer for Christians involved in leadership beyond the Church.
The weekend will take place in East Sussex from 17 to 19 July, and Christians aged between 18 and 35 and with a heart to lead change in the UK are invited to take part.
We want to see more and more leaders standing up, speaking out, and taking responsibility across all of society. We believe the key to this is helping leaders grow together in community with other leaders and at this first conference in July we want to draw together leaders from different spheres to learn together and to build relationships.
For the gathering in July we are looking for a group who are involved in various forms of leadership and responsibility outside the Church. This could be leading in politics, media, business, arts, academia, healthcare or about any other area that is vital to building a good and healthy society.
The weekend will take place at the Oast Houses in East Sussex running from Friday evening until Sunday afternoon. The Evangelical Alliance will be supporting the cost of the gathering, but participants are asked to contribute £100 toward the accommodation and food.
For those looking to shape culture by leading change, this weekend will be a valuable opportunity to grow and connect. Our aim is to develop a network of public leaders who are committed to working for the kingdom of God in the many different places they are active.
