The national group representing Christians in the arts is looking for innovative entries for their script writing competition, which closes in one month.

Long-standing Alliance member, The Arts Centre Group, is looking for 29-minute revues for radio, or to be adapted for stage.

The Arts Centre Group brings together Christians who are working professionally in the field of the arts, existing to "support, encourage, inspire and mentor each other as they seek to integrate their lives, faith and artistic endeavours".

The revue can focus on one subject or a variety of material, but it should have a social, political or religious dimension.

Various media can be used, and entrants can either suggest music or be used or compose their own.

There are two prizes up for grabs - the Julian Battersby Award for young playwrights under the age of 25, with a prize of £300, and the Jasperian Drama Award for playwrights aged 25 and over. The prize for this category is £100.

Scripts will be judged by a team of professionals.
