Holy Week 2016: The good thief

Join us during Holy Week as we reflect on what it is to arise from the sorrow and darkness of Good Friday and into the light of Easter Day.

by Lesley Sutton, director of PassionArt

Today's reflection is based on a life-size realist painting by Manchester-based contemporary artist Louis Smith, titled The Good Thief, who according to the Passion story was crucified to the right of Christ at Golgotha.  The painting offers an alternative way of connecting with the Good Friday narrative because of the choice of subject matter.

Lesley has used Steller, a new online tool, to share her reflection, which you can also view here.
