Best of the Alliance September 2016

We've rounded up the best of the Alliance from September just in case you missed any of it's goodness. We've got what you loved on Facebook, from Friday Night Theology and news about our new Speak Up resource. What's your favourite?

GREAT COMMISSION
We're so excited to be getting ready to launch the Great Commission, starting with a new story each week of a person who's come to faith recently in the UK. The website launches in October, but until then you can keep watch the video of Joe's story via Facebook, Twitter @great_comm and on Vimeo.

FACEBOOK FAVOURITE
Before Brangelina had us all questioning whether true love exists, there was the big news that that other great portmanteau, Hiddleswift, had split up into plain old Hiddlestone and Swift. Friday Night Theology delved in to take a look at the desire for happiness...

IDEA CELEBRATES OUR 170TH BIRTHDAY
idea magazine celebrated 170 years of advocacy, unity and mission across the UK Church by looking back at the Alliance's history, finding out why our members call themselves evangelical, and asking three general directors to reflect on more than 33 years of Alliance leadership.

INSTAGOODNESS
Instagram loved our picture from the conversation between current general director Steve Clifford and former general director Clive Calver to mark our 170th anniversary. Follow us on Instagram to get more glimpses into Alliance life.

A LOVE THAT KNOWS NO BORDERS

September saw a great display of brotherly love as Alistair Brownlee carried his brother Jonny to the line at the conclusion of the World Triathlon Series. You loved Charlotte Hendy's Friday Night Theology reflection on how, like Alistair carried Jonny, so Jesus carries us.
